Women of the Well

A gathering of women who come thirsty and leave sustained โ€” by scripture, by community, and by grace.

About This Ministry

Living water for every season

The name comes from John 4 โ€” the story of a woman who came to a well at midday, alone, and encountered Jesus. She left transformed, running back to her village to tell everyone what she had found. That encounter is our touchstone: the belief that Jesus meets women in the midst of their real lives, with full knowledge of who they are, and offers them something that will never run dry.

Women of the Well is a ministry community for the women of Abundant Life Reformed Church and beyond. We gather for fellowship, prayer, scripture, honest conversation, and the kind of friendship that holds up under pressure.

This is not a women’s committee or a program. It is a group of women who have decided to do life together with intention โ€” to show up for one another in ordinary moments and in the hard ones.

Women at every age and stage are welcome โ€” singles, married, young mothers, empty nesters, widows, women new to faith and women who have walked with God for decades. The well is deep enough for all of us.

How We Gather

What Women of the Well looks like

๐Ÿ“–

Scripture & Study

We anchor ourselves in the Word together. Our studies are accessible and honest โ€” making space for questions, for doubt, and for the wonder that comes when scripture suddenly makes sense in a new way.

๐Ÿ™

Prayer Together

We pray for one another. Out loud, in small groups, privately โ€” whatever you are comfortable with. Knowing that other women are carrying your name before God is a gift that never gets old.

โ˜•

Genuine Fellowship

We eat together, celebrate together, and show up for one another in the hard moments. This is the kind of friendship you can call on at 2 AM. We are building something that lasts.

“Everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst.”

โ€” John 4:13โ€“14
