A community shaped by grace
Abundant Life Reformed Church has been a spiritual home in Wyckoff, New Jersey since 1954. For more than seven decades, we have gathered around the Word, broken bread together, prayed for one another, and sought to love our neighbors in practical, lasting ways.
We are part of the Reformed Church in America — the oldest Protestant denomination in continuous service in North America, with roots stretching back to 1628. That heritage gives us a deep theological foundation: scripture-anchored, sacrament-centered, and graciously Reformed.
But what you will actually feel when you walk through our doors is warmth. People who ask your name and remember it. A pastor who preaches from the heart. A congregation that celebrates together and mourns together. This is a real community — imperfect, growing, and genuinely glad you are here.

We are a congregation ordered around worship, formed in discipleship, and propelled into mission.
Worship
Every Sunday we gather to hear God’s Word proclaimed, to pray, to sing, and to receive the sacraments. Worship is not a warm-up — it is the center of everything. We hold together the ancient and the immediate, the hymn and the heart.
Discipleship
We are committed to growing together in faith — through Sunday School, Bible study, small groups, and the honest conversations that happen over coffee. Following Jesus is a lifelong journey, and we walk it together.
Mission
The gospel sends us outward. From the Kaleidoscope dementia care ministry to global partnerships to community events — we believe the church is at its best when it is serving the world beyond its own walls.
Reformed Church in America
Abundant Life is a congregation of the Reformed Church in America — the oldest Protestant denomination in continuous service in the United States, founded in 1628 by Dutch settlers in New Amsterdam (now New York City).
The RCA holds to the historic Reformed confessions — the Belgic Confession, the Heidelberg Catechism, and the Canons of Dort — while remaining committed to the church’s mission in the contemporary world.
As an RCA congregation, we belong to a family of more than 900 churches across North America, united by a common faith and a shared commitment to “building the church and renewing the world.”
